We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions to help you navigate through the Plater platform. If you have any further queries, feel free to reach out to us at support@plater.com.au or using the form on the Contact page.
The highest bidder will be charged a Buyer's Premium of 7.5% (inc. GST), capped at AUD $15,000, with a minimum fee of $400 for auctions sold below $10,000, and a minimum fee of $1,000 for auctions sold above $10,000.
Payment will be automatically charged to the payment method that you provide to Stripe during your Plater Auctions onboarding.
If the payment method is declined, we will send you an invoice to pay.
If payment is not received within 14 days, the auction will be offered to the next highest bidder and you will forfeit your opportunity to buy the plate.
Once the Buyer’s Premium is paid, we’ll send you the seller’s contact details to arrange payment and delivery privately. If you’d like Plater to assist with the after-sales process, just let us know. Sellers prefer payment via bank transfer, but other methods can be arranged if discussed beforehand.
The listing will indicate whether it has a reserve price and whether that reserve has been met or not.
